Sascha Zuger
Sascha Zuger started her working career at a four diamond, third-generation-run New England inn and resort, working in guest services, accounting, sales, and administration. She then went on to work with one of the biggest resort software companies, traveling to top hotels, installing the software, and training the staff. A few years later she moved to Maui, and spent the following eight years running tourist boats in Hawaii, sailing the South Pacific, and working at dive resorts from Fiji and Australia to Costa Rica and Honduras, before returning to the states with her newborn son. She realized writing would allow her to feed her cravings for travel, and her son made an excellent traveling partner.
Sascha has published both a travel novel and a memoir, and has freelanced for regional and national newspapers and magazines, covering travel, lifestyle, food, and entertainment. She has also served as a regular columnist and essay contributor for publications such as The Washington Post, The L.A. Times, Good Housekeeping, and Travel and Leisure. Sashca is also a talented photographer, with her work appearing in Time Out New York, Wondertime Magazine, Christian Science Monitor, Self, New York Sun, Conde Nast’s Cookie, and on TravelSavvyMom.com.
Through all of Sascha's extensive travels, New York is the one place she has decided to settle for good.
