Scott Leonard

Scott Leonard has been hiking in Washington for nearly 10 years. A Pacific Northwest native, Scott started his outdoor adventures in the forests and high deserts of Oregon before coming to Washington during college and exploring the Olympic Mountains. After years of hiking in the state for recreation, Scott spent several years at the nonprofit EarthCorps, specializing in trail construction projects—so he has not only hiked many of Washington's trails, but has built several of them as well. He is also the author of Moon Take a Hike Seattle and has a successful criminal defense practice in Portland.
