About the Book
Former residents of Peru, husband and wife team Ross Wehner and Renee Del Gaudio offer an insider's view of Peru from exploring the churches and artisan neighborhoods of Cusco to avoiding the crowds at Machu Picchu and picnicking on the wilderness beach of Reserva Nacional Paracas. Ross and Renee include unique trip ideas like Getting off the Gringo Trail, Archaeological Treasures, and 10 Days in Peru.
Packed with information on dining, transportation, and accommodations, Moon Peru has lots of options for a range of travel budgets. Every Moon guidebook includes recommendations for must-see sights and many regional, area and city-centered maps. Complete with details on trekking the Inca Trail, exploring the Amazon, and surfing in Lima, Moon Peru gives travelers the tools they need to create a more personal and memorable experience. With expert writers, first-rate strategic advice, and an essential dose of humor, Moon guidebooks are the cure for the common trip.

About Kazia Jankowski
When Kazia Jankowski left food writing at Denver’s 5280 magazine to work on the second edition of Moon Peru, she had no idea of the highs and lows she would soon face. One evening, she was sipping champagne in her five-star Lima hotel, and the next day she was on a bus to Nasca, headed for adventure, only to have chili sauce spilled all over her.
After nine months in Peru, Kazia’s favorite attributes of the country were its sophisticated cuisine, incredible natural beauty, and generous people. She has combined these three Peruvian loves into a new business, Pica Peru Culinary Vacations (www.peruculinaryvacations.com), in which she and her Peruvian business partner will lead vacations focusing on the deep relationship between Peruvian culture and its food. Kazia is looking forward to regularly traveling back to Peru.
