Moon Outdoors guidebooks (formerly Foghorn Outdoors) provide adventure travelers, day hikers, long-distance RV campers, and weekend campers with well-researched information, trusted advice, insider tips, and all of the necessary tools to head outdoors. Experts on recreation and adventure, Moon Outdoors authors make camping, hiking, biking, fishing, and RV camping a cinch.

Moon Outdoors authors should live in or near the destination and participate regularly in the activity they are writing about. Authors must be passionate about the activity and the outdoors and be very knowledgeable about how to participate in camping, hiking, biking, fishing, etc., in their area. They should also have previous experience writing about the outdoors and relevant outdoor activities.
